PASIFIKA FAMILIES

PASIFIKA FAMILIES A village, sharing knowledge, fostering connections with love, service & respect.

We gratefully acknowledge Boystown & Communities for Children for believing in us and providing funds for our various projects which include:

PASIFIKA PLAYGROUP
PASIFIKA PARENTING PROGRAM
POLIKOFFEE FOR PARENTS
PASIFIKA DADS & DAUGHTERS EVENTS
PASIFIKA UKULELE/DANCE PROGRAMS
YOUTH JUSTICE INTERVENTION
PASIFIKA VIBES FESTIVAL

Some of our parents through the above channels have gained confidence,

learnt new skills, made new friends and have moved on to further studies, gained employment and support and work withinin our local community projects like International Womens Day, Pasifika Vibes Festival & are now working at a local level advocating on behalf of our Pasifika people. Pasifika Families work is based in the Moreton Bay community where our aims are to provide a hub where families from all Pacific cultures can come to us for assistance on services in the Moreton Bay Region. This page was created to update the local community with the programs/activities/events that Pasifika Families run and for the members to communicate with each other. This site is not for selling products, we would prefer it as a Community page that advertises free events/activities/programs that benefit the community. However if you are willing to do a raffle/competition that is exclusive to Pasifika Families/Polikoffee pages with some of your products as the prize/s then I may allow you to post your products on the page, all requests to admin please first.

Small hands, big meaning 🌺

Last week at playgroup
we made poppies with playdough, cupcakes, and tissue paper honouring some of our communities who served.

No heavy words
just quiet moments
tiny hands creating
big hearts remembering

Planting seeds of respect early
through culture, creativity, and community
