News Update - 21 October 2025
Dear Members and Friends,
A lot has happened since our last News Update in July, as you know the committee's main focus has been on the OMI Community Capital Works Fund to upgrade and refurbish the Macedonian Hall. In between the works the committee and volunteers have worked tirelessly to clean and prepare the hall to hire out for functions, i.e. Manjimup Netball Awards Night, and an Engagement party.
It is with great pride and excitement that this marks not just the completion of a building project but the beginning of a new chapter for our community. Our Community Hall has always been a central gathering place; a space where friendships are built; ideas are shared; and memories are made.
Thanks to the OMI Grant and the dedication of our community members, the support of local leadership, and the hard work of everyone involved in this renovation, we now have a refreshed, more functional, and welcoming space that will serve us for many years to come.
We’re thrilled to be able to reopen the doors in the near future and reintroduce this space as a modern hub for connection, celebration, and collaboration. Thank you to everyone Tradespeople and Volunteers who played a part in making this vision a reality and able to complete the works within the projected timeline.
The team are now preparing catering for the Manjimup Community Resource Centre Spring Harmony All Abilities Ball being held on the 14th of November 2025 and planning for the Members Christmas Function on the 13th of December 2025 which like last year is the same day as the Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival.
