Bush Kinder is BACK for 2026!

Our amazing Wombat and Goanna children absolutely love getting out to explore our local bushlands, rain, snow or shine!

While out on their adventures, they're busy being little nature detectives – making observations, exploring the changing foliage, and inspecting creeks, burrows and animal tracks. So much to discover!

If you spot our bus headed out and about, make sure you give us a big wave! We'll wave right back!

On Sunday 26th we were cooking up a storm at Bunnings Ballarat! A huge shout out to families, staff and committee who jumped in to help us raise funds for our centre.

We appreciate the time and effort put into every onion cooked, soft drink donated and sausage devoured! We couldn’t have done it without this year’s team of Sausage Sizzle Superstars.

The children and educators have been busy tracing and stamping their hands to create a wreath for tomorrow’s ANZAC Day service.

Bronwyn and Dianne will be at the Daylesford Town Hall tomorrow from 10:00 am for the march at 10:30 to Cenotaph, following the service we will lay the beautiful wreath created by the children in honour of all that have served.

Families, if you wish to join us we'd love to see you there (Wombat and Goanna Kindergarten children, please wear your kinder tops!)

Our 4 YO Goanna Kinder Room loves nothing more than to get creating and crafty. At the moment the children have been enjoying creating amazingly colourful collages.
We are always on the lookout for different materials and textures to explore in our craft corner and would love to take any of the following off your hands
- magazines
- newspapers
- coloured card
- old greeting cards
- small material scraps
- cellophane

Any donations would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped into the centre during opening hours.

This week is our final hoorah at the Daylesford Hotel’s Community Meat Raffle!
We have had such a wonderful fundraising experience with the warm and friendly team at the pub, and we would like to invite you all to join us for a meal, a drink and a round of pub pong at the hotel this Friday for our final night.

We are raising funds to give our outdoor spaces a new breath of life, with visions of native gardens for the children of the centre to enjoy for many years to come. The centre is at the heart of our community, offering an environment for children to grow, learn and explore.

We are a not-for-profit community childcare centre run under a committee of dedicated parent volunteers, and appreciate the support of our locals.
