"No one puts Jim Foster in the corner."

Our co-founder Jim arrived at the Good Grub Club Daylesford kitchen last Thursday morning bearing gifts: two enormous pumpkins, grown in the garden of his wife and co-founder, Norma Foster.

Did you know that 12pm every Thursday at the Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre, anyone who needs a hot meal and some good company can walk in. No questions, no fuss.

The Good Grub Club have recently relocated to the 13 Camp Street, Daylesford - where they continue to serve our community. We're proud to support them.😀

If you want to give back to your community this EOFY, you can donate to The Daylesford Foundation, where every dollar goes directly to those that need it most. Link in comments below.

Every donation over $2 is tax deductible, and every dollar matters.

Opportunity Changes Lives
While a student at Daylesford Secondary College Sierra attended the School for Student Leadership (Gnurad Gundidj) in Year 9, which sparked her interest in going on exchange. Her mum knew it would be challenging but supported her because the decision was entirely Sierra’s, and Gnurad had already helped her grow in confidence and independence. The exchange process brought difficulties, including stressful visa issues and unexpected language barriers after her destination changed from the Netherlands to Denmark, leaving her little time to learn the language. Despite this, Sierra returned even more confident and capable.
A grant from The Daylesford Foundation made the exchange possible.
The family is grateful for the support that enabled such a life changing opportunity.
Sierra reflects that although it wasn’t always easy, the experience helped her grow, and she encourages others to seize similar opportunities.
