Our May Trail Ride was a new experience for our Club. From Bellbird Grove to the South side of Mt Nebo Road, we discovered stunning vistas of the Toowoomba ranges, Brisbane City, and Moreton Bay. A relaxing picnic lunch at Bellbird Grove Park was the ideal finale to our Sunday morning ride.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION about
our May Trail Ride this coming Sunday (24th). Another event has been
rescheduled at the Showgrounds, which restricts our access, so we will
be doing a new destination ride from Bellbird Grove at 9am. The
meeting place is at the end of Bellbird Grove Road, off Mt Nebo Rd.
Look out for signage for the turnoff.
Please arrive around 8.30am to allow time to sign on and saddle up.
Health Decs are not required.
The trail is moderate with lots of small hills and is just over 12kms.
Boots or shoes are recommended. It will still be a great track to ride
even after all this wet weather.
If you are riding, please confirm by 9am Friday so we can cater for
you at the picnic lunch. Drinks will
be available for purchase.
*Please take care while driving on Mt Nebo Rd. It is narrow in places
and you may be sharing the road with motorcyclists on the day. At the
meeting place, there is a turnaround area at the end of the carpark so you
don’t have to worry about backing a float.

The Dayboro Trail Riders had a totally packed weekend, with horses and riders participating in the Anzac Day Parade and attending the ceremony in Dayboro, then refueling with a much-needed cuppa and Anzac biscuits. Next up was a fun afternoon ride at Postman's Track, because a little rain wasn't going to dampen our spirits. And, to top it all off, our monthly ride was scheduled for the same weekend, because we love a good challenge, especially when it's a rainy one. The intermittent showers didn’t stop us from enjoying the beautiful trails and stunning scenery.

Our 16km ride on Sunday 26th April will take us to one of those secluded tracks that are exclusive to Dayboro Trail rides. This ride is rated as moderate. Sign on is at the Clubhouse at 8am & we ride out at 8.30am.
Please advise us (no later than Friday) of your intention to join us for lunch. This will greatly assist with catering & reduce food wastage.

A handful of riders joined our 'All Season's trail ride’. It began with sunshine & bird song, then gusty winds brought thunder, lightning and a drenching downpour. A huge Stag was spotted by riders but our horses were too cool to care. We had quite the adventure & made it back safe & sound, although a tad damp.
