Taking a moment to acknowledge our organisation's achievement of launching our Sanctuary Certified Status. Held at Wharf One with over 70 people in attendance, special guest speaker NT Coroner Elisabeth Armitage, and performance from One Mob, the day was a moment of celebration and reflection on our success in becoming a trauma-informed service for victims of crime across the NT. Thank you to all of our network agencies, stakeholders and friends who came to be a part of the day. A special thanks to The MacKillop Institute who were in attendance who were our certifiers of the Sanctuary Model.

National Sorry Day is held annually on May 26 to acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generations survivors and reflect on the history and lasting impacts of the forced removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. The day commemorates the 1997 tabling of the landmark Bringing Them Home report. It is a National Day of Remembrance and healing, allowing Australians to confront past injustices and honour the resilience of Indigenous families.
