Last year, young people across Australia shared their experiences with the Achievement Pathways.

We listened - and now we've designed improvements to make Scouts Australia’s youth program more adventurous, fun, challenging and inclusive.

Happy Founder’s Day!

Today, we celebrate the legacy of our founder, Lord Baden-Powell, and the incredible impact the Scouting movement has had on millions of lives worldwide.
A movement rooted in service, adventure, friendship, and a deep belief in the potential of young people. Founder’s Day is also a time to renew our commitment to the Scout Promise and Law - to be people of character, courage, compassion, and hope.

🌟 NT Rovers at NRC 2026! 🌟

Last weekend, our two NT representatives headed down to Sydney to proudly fly the flag for NT Rovers at the National Rover Council Conference.

Joining delegations from every Branch and the National Rover Council Team, they dove into a full weekend of exciting presentations, engaging workshops, and plenty of great conversations!

We’re also very proud to share that a couple of NT Rovers have officially infiltrated the National Rover Council team, bringing a strong Territory perspective to the table. 🙌🔥

An amazing time was had by all, and our NT team has returned with fresh ideas and plans to help shape Rovering in 2026. We can’t wait to see what’s next!

His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, The Administrator of the Northern Territory and Chief Scout of the Northern Territory, recently visited the Howard Springs Hall for a very special awards night.

His Honour presented Meritorious Service Awards to Evan Johns and Shane Pascoe-Bell and 5 year Service Awards to Jason and Bianca Tong.

As a token of our appreciation, Scouts NT presented His Honour with an Appreciation Award and keepsake gifts to recognise his service to Scouting.

His Honour reflected on his time in Scouts as a young boy, an experience he fondly remembers as an incredible journey of growth and discovery. We thank and appreciate His Honour's ongoing dedication to service and community, and as His Honour's time as Administrator and Chief Scout draws to an end, we wish him the best in his future endeavours.
