Congratulations to Our Outstanding Scorers, Scoreboard Operators and Volunteers at the Test Match!

On behalf of the NT Cricket Match Officials Association, we would like to extend our sincere congratulations and appreciation to the members who proudly represented our association during the recent Test Match at TIO Stadium.

A special congratulations to:

Kathryn White – Scorer #122
Mark White – Scorer #123
Cheryl Owens – Scorer #124

Lily Gellel – Scoreboard Operator
Naomi McMahon – Scoreboard Operator

These members played an important role in the successful delivery of international cricket in the Northern Territory and showcased the professionalism, dedication and teamwork that our association is known for.

A particularly heartfelt thank you goes to Cheryl Owens, who stepped in at short notice to cover for Kathryn following an interstate family emergency. We also thank Naomi McMahon, who volunteered to take over scoreboard duties on Day 4 after Lily became unwell. Your willingness to step up when needed embodies the true spirit of our cricket community.

We would also like to congratulate a select group of NTCMOA members who were invited to participate in the Match Officials and Volunteers Walk during the Tea interval on Day 3. Having the opportunity to complete a lap of TIO Stadium in front of a Test Match crowd was a memorable and well-deserved recognition of the countless hours our officials and volunteers contribute to cricket throughout the year.

Moments like these highlight the vital role that scorers, scoreboard operators, match officials and volunteers play in the game we all love. While much of their work happens behind the scenes, cricket simply could not function without their dedication and commitment.

Thank you all for your service, professionalism and passion for cricket in the Northern Territory. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and the way you represented both the NTCMOA and the wider Northern Territory cricket community on the international stage.

Congratulations and thank you to each of you on a job exceptionally well done!
