Ascension Sunday was also our Solemn Charge Weekend very much fitting for our Lord to make that command... We have been charged... "Go out to the whole world and proclaim the good news"... and this Sunday He makes sure that we are not left helpless, wondering how we would do it, we have the Holy Spirit who will teach and guide us. It as an occasion for us to rekindle the fire he has given us, to make alive in us the gifts...
