Member recognition: Adam has recently passed the 2,500 patrol hours milestone!

That’s the equivalent of a full-time job for over 14 months straight, running 350 marathons, or watching every Mindil sunset for seven years. It’s a lifetime of service condensed into one extraordinary contribution.

A Mindil Beach Life Member, SLSNT President, and one of our patrol captains, Adam embodies what volunteer surf lifesaving is all about: consistency, care for community, and a willingness to show up year after year.

Adam has provided 24 years of service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to Australia's coastline.

Congratulations Adam.

A huge congratulations to the six Mindil members who completed their Bronze Medallion assessments and annual skills maintenance over the weekend.

We're excited to welcome our newest members to the Club. Every volunteer lifesaver strengthens our patrol team and helps drive Surf Life Saving NT's vision of zero preventable deaths in NT waters.

A massive thank you to Marcus for leading the training and Tima for their support throughout the assessment - your time and dedication make achievements like this possible.

Early knock-off for our volunteers today as the tide ran away so fast even our Patrol Captain couldn't bring it back!

If you zoom in on the photo, you will spot him way down the tidal flats chasing the ocean like it owes him money.

We will be back on patrol tomorrow 16/08/2026 from 2pm to 6pm at Lake Alexander - guaranteed water included.

Huge congratulations to Lee‑Anne and Luke — two Territory lifesavers who embody what service, leadership and community spirit look like. Mindil is proud to recognise their contribution and celebrate this well‑earned honour. Their impact reaches far beyond their clubs and continues to inspire the next generation of lifesavers.
