Our 90s Sokkie was a great success! We had so much fun! It is always great to experience the kids, teenagers, parents and grandparents enjoying an event together!

Hi Members,

We have big plans this year for member events and to grow our NT South African Association . We are excited to share that we met with government, implemented systems to better collaborate as a committee and are in the process to finalise our website.

We are looking for committee members to join in the exciting experience to grow our organisation. We have 4 general committee member vacancies on our committee. Our Annual General Meeting will be later this year and would like to appoint acting roles until we formally vote on the next AGM.

The general committee member responsibilities includes:
1. Attend monthly general meetings.
2. Need to invest 2 to 5 hours of time per month to perform duties.

🕊️ Angelique's Memorial Service 🕊️

Dear Friends and South African Community,

In memory of Angelique de Wet, whose life was tragically cut short when a tree fell on her two weeks ago, we invite you to join us for a memorial service this Sunday at the Botanical Gardens.

🕐 Date & Time: This Sunday, 22nd October, at 5 PM
📍 Meeting Point: Meet at the Event Centre in the Botanical Gardens

From the Event Centre, we will walk to the tree where Angelique was taken from us and place flowers in her memory. Pastor Lars Halvorsen from C3 Church, known for his compassionate and comforting words, will lead us in prayer. In this solemn moment, we'll bow our heads and join our hearts in unity as we offer our collective prayers and blessings for Angelique's peaceful journey. Pastor Lars will help us find solace and strength in faith as we honour Angeliques life.

We ask that everyone please bring a flower to lay at the spot where Angelique was tragically taken from us. Let's create a garden of love and remembrance in her honour.

Light refreshments will be provided as we come together to support one another during this challenging time.

We understand that Angelique's loss has profoundly affected many of us, and your presence would mean the world to us and Angelique's family.
