๐ A Successful Event for CDU Nexus: From Student to Industry: The Business Analyst Journey!
We are delighted to share some highlights from our recent Business Analyst Panel Discussion, organised by CDU Nexus at Charles Darwin University on 9 October 2026!
It was wonderful to see such a great turnout of students and industry professionals coming together to share experiences, exchange ideas and build meaningful connections.
Our panellists shared valuable insights into how students can prepare for the professional world, develop practical skills and create opportunities beyond the classroom.
๐ก One of the key takeaways was the importance of working on both individual and team projects, building a strong portfolio and gaining practical experience. Our panellists encouraged students to take initiative, develop solutions to real-world problems and proactively reach out to local organisations, including Northern Territory Government departments, to showcase their projects, skills and ideas.
Whether working independently or collaborating with a team, every project is an opportunity to learn, demonstrate capabilities and build connections with industry professionals.
๐ค A huge thank you to our panellists for generously sharing their knowledge, experiences and valuable advice:
๐น Michael Augello โ Senior Advisor, International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
๐น Sarah Beaumont โ Director, CARE Business Alignment Unit, Northern Territory Government, and Chair of BANT
