The Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NT) Inc is pleased to share coverage of the inaugural Greece–Australia ICT Networking Initiative.

Developed through a partnership between HACCI National Federation and our Greek MoU partners, the initiative brought together 30 participating technology companies from Australia and Greece to explore opportunities across Smart Cities, HealthTech, Industry & Manufacturing Technologies, FinTech, Media & Creative Industries and Automotive Technologies.

The event demonstrated the value of structured business connections and highlighted interest from participants in continuing discussions around innovation, technology development, research collaboration and commercial opportunities.

Thank you to our partner organisations Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), SEVE – Greek Exporters Association, SETPE, and TIF‑HELEXPO, together with our fellow HACCI Chambers across Australia, for their collaboration and support.

We also acknowledge the participation and support of both Ambassadors and all companies that contributed to the discussions.

HACCI brings together 30 Greek and Australian technology companies in a landmark initiative to strengthen innovation & business partnerships.

We are proud to share that the 5th International Conference on the Hellenic Diaspora will take place in 2026, continuing an important academic and cultural collaboration between Charles Darwin University, the University of the Aegean, and the University of Macedonia.

Since 2007, this partnership has supported the teaching of Greek language and culture, strengthened cross academic collaboration, and promoted research on Hellenism in the Diaspora.

The conference will bring together academics and researchers from around the world, both in person and online, across three locations: Darwin, Rhodes, and Thessaloniki.

The opening keynote address in Darwin will be delivered by historian and writer Dr Peter Forrest on the topic: “What did they come to?”

This important conference continues to promote the Northern Territory internationally, while celebrating the unique contribution of Greek language, culture, education, history, and community life across the Diaspora.
