Keen to join the amazing SUDA 2026 team? Come along to our AGM on November 21st at 5:30 PM in PNR Learning Studio 315 to nominate yourself and get involved!
SUDA is powered by an incredible team of volunteers, elected by students every year since 2003. We’re the ADP faculty society, and we have a range of exciting roles open for 2026. No experience needed — just bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and ideas!
Everyone is welcome to attend and vote, even if you’re not running for a role. The success of the 2026 team is in yourhands!
VOTING REQUIREMENT: You must be a current ADP student to vote.
✨ Overview:�Join us on November 21st at 5:30 PM for an important meeting. We’ll begin by presenting our annual report, followed by the election of the new SUDA executives for 2026.�To be eligible for election, you’ll need a nomination and a second from fellow members (ask your friends — it’s easy!).
Once nominations close, candidates will give a brief, informal introduction about themselves and explain why they’re suited for the role (don’t stress — it’s casual!). Voting will take place through a Google Form. After all candidates have spoken, votes will be counted and verified in real time, and the winners will join the SUDA committee for 2026. This process will be fully transparent.
If you aren’t elected for one position, you can still run for another (you can only hold one role overall).
Can’t attend at 5:30 PM on Thursday? No worries! Record a ~1-minute video and have a friend nominate you and play it during the meeting.
All roles involve stepping up to support SUDA in everything we do best — rocking the SUDA shirt and helping out with O-Week, O-Day, BBQs, Designer Drinks, workshops, and parties. There are 23 positions available.
Roles Available:
👑 President�Leadership, team coordination, public speaking, initiative, problem-solving, and planning. Requires strong time management, leadership, and a belief in SUDA’s impact. You’ll coordinate with faculty, industry, and other societies to enable new opportunities and events.
🏅 Vice-President�Leadership, team coordination, public speaking, initiative, problem-solving, and planning. Similar to the President role, requiring excellent time management and team leadership.
💰 Treasurer�Budgeting, bookkeeping, decision-making. Requires organisational skills, attention to detail, and basic financial management. Excel skills are a plus but not essential.
📒 Secretary�Correspondence, organisation, scheduling, and communication. Requires strong organisational and planning abilities.
💼 Industry Representative (x2)�Networking, sponsorships, and partnerships. Perfect for those who enjoy connecting with firms and writing business emails. You’ll help bring in sponsors, partners, and judges for SUDA events.
🥳 Events Coordinator (x2)�Parties, workshops, Designer Drinks, networking nights, and more! Requires social confidence, event-planning skills, and an understanding of student interests.
📺 Media Coordinator (x2)�Social media and content creation. Ideal for those who enjoy photography, videography, and creating engaging content. Photography skills are a plus.
🎨 Graphics Designer (x2)�Design posters, logos, merchandise, and more. You’ll drive the visual direction of SUDA events. Graphic design skills required.
🙏 Health & Wellbeing Representative (x2)�Mindfulness, mental health, and student support. Perfect for someone passionate about wellbeing and creating balance within the faculty.
🏀 Interfaculty Sports Coordinator�Sports, fitness, and team building. You’ll help organise sports activities and promote participation across the faculty.
🏡 Undergraduate Representative�Represent BDesArch students. Keep SUDA updated on course deadlines and help highlight student work in our media.
🌴 BAE Representative�Represent students in the BAE program. You’ll update SUDA on BAE-specific events, deadlines, and work.
💾 Interaction Design Representative�Represent Design Computing students and help connect their work to the broader community.
✌️ Second Year Representative (x2)�Be the voice for second-year students. Inform SUDA of key deadlines, exhibitions, and cohort needs.
🎓 Postgraduate Representative�Represent postgraduate students and ensure their needs and work are acknowledged within SUDA.
🌎 International Representative (x2)�Be the bridge between SUDA and international students. Help keep students informed and connected, especially via platforms like WeChat.
👶 First Year Representative (x2)�These roles will be filled in a general meeting in early 2026. First-year reps help connect their new cohort with SUDA.
