We support Fossil Free UTAS!!

If you wanna show your support for the crew who are camping out at their VC's office until University of Tasmania commits to divesting from fossil fuels, you can take one or more of these simple steps:
1) call this number 03 6226 2002. That's the number for the VC's office. The secretary is lovely. If you could tell them who you are, that you support us and why you think UTas needs to divest now!
2) Share/post crazily on social media about our sit-in. We're close to getting national coverage but we need your help here!
3) Take individual profile pictures of people holding a piece of paper saying "I support Fossil Free Utas!

"One hundred people, not sure if we will make it to Australia, heaven or hell. I wasn't sure if we would make it on our worn boat on a dangerous ocean. But we had to try. The fifty/ fifty chance of staying alive was better than the one hundred per cent chance of dying if I had stayed at home. There was no chance I could make it to an airport without risking my life.

It only took seventeen days for us to arrive. It takes some people up to two to three months when the GPS doesn’t work. I am one of the lucky ones."
