Youth 2 Israel (Y2i) funds programs for Yr 10 participants on a life changing journey of Jewish identity, building continuity in the community. Through the creation of an independent communal endowment fund Y2i ensures that this initiative gives Jewish students an opportunity to participate on a Year 10 Israel program. Working with education providers across NSW, ACT and Queensland, operating in b

oth Jewish day schools and non-Jewish schools, Y2i is committed to inspiring teens today towards tomorrow. JCA, JNF, UIA, NSWJBD and ECAJ partner with Y2i on this initiative. By building an understanding and appreciation of our heritage today we inspire the next generation towards a stronger tomorrow for the community.

It’s one of the most common concerns.

“What if I don’t know anyone going on the program?”

Nesiah is built exactly for that. It brings together students from -Jewish schools across the community. Everyone starts in the same position — and that’s what makes it work.

You’re not joining an existing group. You’re forming one together.

✨ Shavuot Sameach! ✨

On , we stay up learning Torah to remember the moment Am stood together at Har Sinai.

We celebrate with our favourite dairy foods — cheesecake, ice cream, and plenty of chocolate 🍰🍦

And in shul, we stand to hear the Aseret Hadibrot, reliving one of the most important moments in Jewish history.

A time of learning, tradition, community, and of course… good food.

Some things can’t be understood from a classroom.

Standing in these places, hearing the stories, and seeing it all up close changes how you understand and . It becomes real, personal, and much more meaningful.

From ancient sites to modern spaces, every moment adds a new layer of understanding.
For many students, this is where everything connects — what they’ve learned, what they see, and what they begin to feel.

It’s not just about where you go.
It’s about what you come to understand.

The best way to understand this experience is not from us.

Speak to any student who has been on a Year 10 program. Ask them what they gained, what surprised them, and whether they would do it again.

The answer is almost always the same.

Students talk about they didn’t expect, confidence they didn’t know they had, and moments that stayed with them long after returning home.

This is not just something we say. It is something consistently lived.
