Kiyua Performing Arts is a not for profit dance group that aim to support kids in need.

What a fabulous day we had in the Hub last Thursday with our Japanese visitors from Uni SQ, who are here in Toowoomba on their Social Justice and Human Welfare Tour. 🗾

We had a great morning learning about the words to the song - Waltzing Matilda 🐏
The students then had the opportunity to share their knowledge of Origami with our participants. 🎉

We had a lot of fun and we are grateful to Meg and the team from the Global Education Program Team at University of Southern Queensland - Australia.🙏

Such a great opportunity for everyone to learn something from one another.🕊️

These two ladies both have the same last name, yet one comes from the Philippines and one comes from Argentina, one has good English, one doesn’t…. yet‼️

And there in lies the beauty of our community hubs. ♥️

Now they call themselves sister🥳

You don’t have to speak the same language to be kind or respectful to someone else, you just have to have a kind and respectful heart💖.
