The International Partnerships & Development Commission invite you to get together with friends or go solo to raise money for Lafaek Diak's mobile health clinic in Timor Leste.
Starting and ending at Saint Stephen’s Uniting Church in Applecross, there will be two walk options for people to choose - 3.4km and 6.8km - finishing the day with afternoon refreshments. This family friendly and accessible walk will not only be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon, it is an opportunity to raise funds for the Mobile Health Clinic in East Timor. You could walk, scoot or ride! There are also options to sponsor someone, or simply make a donation.

Treks are our regular way of raising funds to support the mobile health clinic in East Timor run by our Uniting Church partners Fundaçoun Lafaek Diak (FLD – the Good Crocodile Foundation). The mobile clinic goes out to a remote community twice a week from its base in Triloca. The mobile health clinic provides life saving community based health services to these remote communities.

Want to join us at the Trek for Timor South West 2024 but don’t want to walk? No problem!

The traditional East Timorese game of “Wari” will be available to play on the day. Come along and learn how to play this game using nothing but nature as the game pieces!

We will be at the beautiful Crooked Brook Forest in the Shire of Dardanup from 1pm on October 6th!

Can’t join us for this year's Trek for Timor South West 2024? We hope to see you next year! You can still support the Trek by sponsoring these pups to walk in your place.

Meet Chai (left) and Xena (right), last year these girls supported the Trek for Timor by setting up signs on the 10km trail and providing a tail end (pun intended) for the 3km trail to ensure no one got lost!

This year they are asking for sponsorship for their kms on the trek! Every new donation will add 100m to their walk. They are wagging their tails in hopes of a nice big walk again this year!
All donations/sponsorship provided will go directly to support the Fundação Lafaek Diak (The Good Crocodile Foundation)
