Some of the classes run by Imam Mahmud Kürkçü are: Science of Hadith, Aqeedah at-Tahawiyyah (rh), 54 Fara’id of imam Hassan Al-Basri (rh), and many more…YMA has also been organising Youth Camps since the 1980s and other important events around Australia. Regular activities include:

In Tuesday Night Class we go through traditional texts. For the last few years we have been covering Imam Hajar al-Asqalani's al-Munabihat. This book is filled with timely reminders and important reflections. Deen Intensives and Youth Camp:
Are Deen Intensives and Youth Camps are catered specifically for our youth and aim to provide a safe environment where they can meet brothers and sisters from across Australia and more importantly re-connect with their Deen, their Messenger (saws) and their Lord. Saturday and Sunday School:
Our Saturday School is located at Coburg Mosque, and runs from 9am - 4pm every week. Subjects covered include: Fiqh, Aqidah, Quran Recitation, Hifz - Surahs, Duas, Hadith, Seerah, Shama'il and Akhlaq. Our Sunday School is situated in the South Eastern Suburbs (Rowville) and runs from 10am - 1:30pm. At Sunday School we cover Quran Recitation and Basic Islamic Knowledge, hence providing students with the foundations they need to blossom as vibrant young Muslims.http://www.slv.vic.gov.au/sites/default/files/La-Trobe-Journal-89-Joshua-M-Roose.pdf

Alhamdulillāh, we have bid farewell to Shaykh Abdurragmaan Khan after 24 hours of what can only be described as grounding and filled with connection. In the short time we hosted Shaykh Abdurragmaan, we were reminded of being connected to the Qur’ān, keeping a daily practice of reciting it and acting upon it, and loving the Ahl al-Bayt of Rasulullah ﷺ. The Shaykh also taught of the importance in loving Rasulullah ﷺ and adhering to gatherings of remembrance.
Outside of classes, the embodiment of Prophetic gentleness, mercy and concern for all of humanity radiated from the Shaykh’s disposition. We ask that Allāh give him a long and healthy life, and return him to our shores for future visits to Melbourne.
