Our quarterly club meeting is this Thursday night at Dandenong Show Grounds (outside the Dandenong Agricultural Society club rooms) at 7pm.

If you're interested in joining the club or want to check it out please come down and join us. There will be cool cars on display and a BBQ sausage sizzle.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a bit of feedback from our Members and Facebook users.

I've been looking into the Clubs existing page and thinking about setting up a Facebook Group to enable more interaction between members. This will create an area where all members can chat. This might be a link from the current page (I can't simply change the current page to a group)

The differences are:

A page is great for promoting the club publicly, sharing news, events and attracting new members. A member can comment on an existing page but it's more difficult for them to add a new post unless set up as admin.

A Facebook Group fosters member interaction, discussions and creates a sense of community among existing members. You can easily post comments, outings & pic and ask questions in this group.

Many clubs use both.

I'm keen to hear your comments or thoughts.
