The Civil Roots Platform has been launched as a national collaborative space bringing together Syrian civil society organizations and civic initiatives, aiming to enhance cooperation and build an effective network for sustainable social change, while supporting local initiatives to achieve tangible impact in their communities.
The platform focuses on several key areas:
• Enhancing community participation and accountability: Empowering civil initiatives to amplify local voices and actively engage in decision-making, with a focus on marginalized groups and underrepresented segments to ensure inclusive civic processes.
• Knowledge and experience sharing: Providing an environment for exchanging best practices, innovative tools, joint workshops, and technical and advisory support to increase the efficiency and impact of civil work on the ground.
• Building sustainable solutions: Supporting projects that address social, economic, and humanitarian issues in an integrated manner, with an emphasis on sustainability and adaptability to local needs, including initiatives in education, health, employment opportunities, and social protection.
• Promoting social cohesion and justice: Implementing programs that strengthen community cohesion and empower civil institutions to address local conflicts and societal challenges, with a focus on mediation and community peacebuilding.
• Facilitating partnerships and civic collaboration: Establishing a network that enables collaboration between initiatives, organizations, and supporting actors to develop joint projects, secure additional resources, and achieve greater community impact.
• Strengthening transparency and internal accountability: Supporting organizations and initiatives in adopting effective and transparent management practices to optimize resource use and reinforce local trust in civil work.
Through this platform, we aim to build a strong and flexible national network that empowers civil society and enhances its role in promoting sustainable development and positive change in Syrian communities....................................................................................................
منصة جذور مدنية لتكون مساحة وطنية مشتركة تجمع منظمات المجتمع المدني والمبادرات المدنية السورية، بهدف تعزيز التعاون وبناء شبكة فعّالة للتغيير الاجتماعي المستدام، ودعم المبادرات المحلية في تحقيق تأثير ملموس في مجتمعاتهم.
تركّز المنصة على عدة محاور رئيسية:
• تعزيز المشاركة المجتمعية والمساءلة: تمكين المبادرات المدنية من إيصال صوت المجتمع المحلي والمشاركة الفاعلة في صنع القرار، مع التركيز على الفئات المهمشة والشرائح الأقل تمثيلاً لضمان شمولية العمليات المدنية.
• تبادل الخبرات والمعرفة: توفير بيئة تتيح تبادل أفضل الممارسات والأدوات المبتكرة، وورش عمل مشتركة، ودعم فني واستشاري للمبادرات لرفع كفاءة العمل المدني وزيادة أثره على الأرض.
• بناء حلول مستدامة: دعم المشاريع التي تعالج القضايا الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والإنسانية بطريقة متكاملة، مع التركيز على الاستدامة والقدرة على التكيف مع الاحتياجات المحلية، بما يشمل مبادرات التعليم، الصحة، فرص العمل، والحماية الاجتماعية.
• تعزيز السلم الأهلي والعدالة الاجتماعية: العمل على برامج تعزز التماسك الاجتماعي وتقوي المؤسسات المدنية في مواجهة النزاعات المحلية والتحديات المجتمعية، مع التركيز على الوساطة وبناء السلام المجتمعي.
• تسهيل الشراكات والتعاون المدني: إنشاء شبكة تتيح التعاون بين المبادرات والمنظمات والجهات الداعمة، لتطوير مشاريع مشتركة، وتأمين موارد إضافية، وتحقيق تأثير أكبر على مستوى المجتمع السوري.
• تعزيز الشفافية والمساءلة الداخلية: دعم المنظمات والمبادرات في تبني ممارسات إدارة فعّالة وشفافة، لضمان الاستخدام الأمثل للموارد وتعزيز ثقة المجتمع المحلي في العمل المدني.
من خلال هذه المنصة، نسعى إلى بناء شبكة وطنية قوية ومرنة تعمل على تمكين المجتمع المدني وتعزيز دوره في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة والتغيير الإيجابي في المجتمع السوري.
