We’re incredibly grateful to share that Megan has been nominated for the Gold Coast Australian of the Year Award in recognition of the impact created through Heal.ed Tribe and its community.

This recognition reflects so much more than one person. It speaks to the young people who show up with courage, the families who walk alongside them, and the wider community who continue to support and believe in this work.

The Domestic Violence Prevention Centre (DVPC) are facilitating a Gold Coast Community Consultation to help shape an action plan to prevent domestic and family violence.

DVPC are seeking the community’s insights on current knowledge, awareness and engagement with DFV supports and actions. They want to understand what local programs and initiatives are already working well, where community education and awareness should be focused, and what service gaps people are experiencing.

By gathering this collective wisdom, they aim to build a community-led plan that strengthens safety, improves responses,
and helps us work together to prevent domestic and family violence.

We especially welcome input from people with lived or living experience, as well as advocates and community members who want to see better outcomes.
