The Road Safe Journeys Program for the Wheatbelt is a road safety initiative funded by the Road Safety Commission of Western Australia.

Designed for everyone in the community, this informative session is ideal for parents, carers, community members and young people approaching driving age wanting to better understand road safety and traffic laws.

The session runs for approximately one hour, with time allocated at the end for attendees to ask questions about traffic laws, road safety, and traffic offences.

Join us to learn more about staying safe on our roads and helping reduce road trauma across the Wheatbelt.

A huge thank you to the World Elder Abuse Awareness Raising Regional Grants Program, sponsored by Encompass Legal & Community Services and the Department of Communities, for funding three fantastic community events throughout June and July.

Across our Day at the Movies, community breakfast and painting class, we had 119 community members participate. It was wonderful to see so many people come together, connect, have fun and learn more about the importance of recognising and preventing elder abuse.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make these events such a success. 💜💜

🍔 Free Burgers Tomorrow! 🍔

Join us tomorrow the 9th July from 9:00am–10:00am at the Lions Kiosk for a free burger and help raise awareness for World Elder Abuse Awareness. Everyone is welcome.

Sometimes older people don't ask for help because they are worried about getting a loved one into trouble. No one should feel they have to suffer in silence.

Did you know that 1 in 6 older people in Western Australia experience some form of abuse? By coming together as a community, we can help raise awareness, and let people know support is available.
