Jamie Setting up Audio Recording devices on Tagalaka National Park as part of our Gouldian Finch Reaearch Project.
Our partner, JCU will be sent the recordings after 3 months in the field, and will be able to identify any of the birds calling then deliver a report to Tagalaka Rangers with the results.

Learning the installation and usages of our Audio Recording devices for our Gouldian Finch Research as part of our Work Plan with DES’s Dept of Endangered &Thteatened Soecies Dept. Trained alongside and on Ewamian Rangers Country, Talaroo Nature Reserve.
The SD cards in these recording devices will be sent to JCU, that will correctly identify the calls recorded of all animals in our area.
