Wanda Surf Life Saving Club Wanda SLSC is a family oriented club positioned towards the northern end of the Cronulla Beaches. Th

Wanda was established in 1946 after the Second World War by a group of returned servicemen and the colours of Army Red, Air Force Blue and Navy Blue were adopted as the club colours. Since this time Wanda has grown to its current membership of over 900 male and female members ranging from the 5 year old Nippers to the original Founding Members.

Less than one week to go!

The Tradies One Club Carnival is almost here, and we’re looking forward to welcoming clubs, athletes and supporters to Wanda on Saturday.

From the juniors through to the masters and inclusive events, it’s a great day to bring our surf lifesaving community together and kick off another big season of competition.

Wishing Dane Sutton and Noah Steiner the very best of luck as they take on Round 1 of the Shaw and Partners Iron Series tomorrow – the gruelling 25.6km Coolangatta Gold!

A particularly exciting milestone for Dane as he makes his Iron Series debut, while Noah returns for his second series!

Tune in to Channel 10 from 11:30am (Sydney time) this Saturday 17th October to catch the action and cheer them on!

We also have Jayda Zammit-Mayer taking on the 25.6 for the first time, a strong team of 10 others taking on the sprint on Saturday, and a group of Nippers doing the Dash on Sunday.

Mia Greacen and Dane Sutton recently attended the Australian Lifesaving Team camp on the Sunshine Coast, enjoying several days of training, team bonding and preparation alongside their Australian teammates.

The camp was an important part of their preparations for the upcoming Lifesaving World Championships in South Africa.

We can’t wait to see Mia and Dane representing Australia and racing in the green and gold! 💚💛

Our Nippers were making the most of the sunshine, on the sand and in the water, while Patrol 13 was on duty keeping everyone safe.

A huge congratulations to our newest Bronze Medallion holders, who took on the challenge of our intensive SRC to Bronze course during the school holidays.

Everyone was engaged, strengthened their confidence and further developed their lifesaving skills.
