🎅 Look who's back... back again! 🎄
Well... only for a very short visit! We got special permission from the North Pole to join the brigade for their Christmas in July... even if it ended up being in August! Better late than never, we suppose. 😂
Sadly, we have to head back to the North Pole later tonight, but it won't be long until we're back for a whole month of Christmas fun! 🎁✨
P.S. A huge thank you to the Crescent Head Country Club for hosting us. We had an absolute blast! ❤️🎄

ceiling.

Test yours every month. If it doesn't beep, replace the battery.
If it's older than 10 years, replace the alarm.

🚒 Join the NSW Rural Fire Service – Lower North Coast District 🚒

Have you ever thought about giving back to your local community?

The NSW Rural Fire Service Lower North Coast District is looking for new volunteers to join our brigades across the Kempsey and Nambucca Valley local government areas.

Our members come from all walks of life and volunteer for many different reasons. Whether you're a tradesperson, office worker, student, retiree, business owner, or anything in between, there is a place for you in the RFS.

Being a volunteer is about much more than fighting bush fires. Our members respond to a wide variety of incidents, including:
🔥 Vegetation fires
🚗 Motor vehicle accidents
🚙 Vehicle fires
🏠 House fires
🤝 Supporting other emergency services, including the SES
👨‍🏫 Community engagement and education activities

No experience? No problem.

We provide flexible training and ongoing support to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to contribute safely and effectively. There are also many non-operational roles available, meaning there is an opportunity for everyone to get involved.

If you're looking to make a difference, learn new skills, meet great people, and help protect your local community, we'd love to hear from you.

Today, we take a moment to recognise and thank the incredible first responders who dedicate their time, skills, and courage to keeping our communities safe.
Whether it's responding to fires, medical emergencies, road crashes, natural disasters, or supporting people during their most difficult moments, first responders are there when they are needed most.
On behalf of our brigade, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all firefighters, paramedics, police officers, SES volunteers, surf lifesavers, emergency communications staff, and all emergency service personnel. Your commitment, sacrifice, and service do not go unnoticed.
We are proud to stand alongside so many dedicated men and women who work tirelessly to protect and support our community.

Fires in the kitchen are the leading cause of house fires in
NSW. The cause is almost always the same. Unattended
cooking.

If you have to leave the kitchen, turn the stove off. A hot pan
only needs a minute.

Cold dinner beats a house fire.
