👏 Congratulations to Jenny, our Best Table Topics Speaker!

Faced with the challenge to argue the opposite of her own beliefs, Jenny confidently claimed that aggression and yelling were the best ways to support someone living with a misunderstood illness. 😄

Her witty delivery and clever exaggeration had everyone laughing, while powerfully reminding us that kindness, patience and empathy make all the difference.

🎉 A memorable start to the Toastmasters journey!

Congratulations to our newest members, Vivienne and Bira, whose Ice Breaker speeches were both voted Audience Favourite.

Vivienne shared the warmth and sweetness of home, while Bira’s - The Gift of a Good Start and Ideas to Postpone the End of the World, reminded us that generosity and love can inspire hope.

A wonderful debut from both speakers - we can’t wait to see what comes next!

That was the challenge at this week’s Magnificent Mosman Toastmasters!

Our historical characters - Winston Churchill, Mary Magdalene, Alfred Hitchcock, and Archimedes - delivered a fun and spirited debate, with Winston Churchill claiming the final seat.

Congratulations to Chris O for winning Best Speech, and to everyone for making it such an entertaining evening. Thanks to all our members and guests for a fantastic turnout!
