A Private Life is a frisky, feminine, film noir about psychoanalysis and many other things… Renowned psychiatrist Lilian Steiner (Jodie Foster in a kinetic performance) is deeply troubled by the sudden death of one of her patients. Convinced that it was murder, she decides to investigate.
And you can listen to Jodie Foster speak perfect French ! 🇫🇷

Le 20 mars, l'ONU célèbre la Journée de la langue française !

Le français est la 4ᵉ langue la plus parlée dans le monde (après l’anglais, le mandarin et l’espagnol) avec 396 millions de locuteurs.

Le français est la 2ᵉ langue étrangère la plus apprise dans le monde, avec près de 170 millions d’apprenants.

Le français est la 3e langue de l’économie et des affaires et représente un atout dans l’établissement de liens d’affaires.

65 % des locuteurs francophones sont en Afrique, un indicateur éloquent du dynamisme linguistique du continent. Sur la base des tendances actuelles, le français devrait être parlé par 590 millions de personnes en 2050, dont 9 sur 10 vivront en Afrique.

Le français est la 4e langue sur Internet. Les nouvelles technologies et la découvrabilité sont des enjeux majeurs pour la vitalité de la langue française dans l’espace numérique.
