May 24 is Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness Day!
🩷💛🩵

Pansexuality describes sexual/physical attraction to people regardless of gender. Whilst Panromantic describes romantic/emotional attraction to people regardless of gender. This means that you experience attraction to all people as gender is not a factor.

The Pansexual flag consists of three stripes- pink, yellow and blue. This flag was introduced in 2010 by Jasper V. The pink stripe represents attraction to femininity, yellow represents attraction to non binary or mixed genders, and blue represents attraction to masculinity.

There is no official or widely used Panromantic flag.

Raising awareness for Pansexuality is important as it increases visibility and support for those who identify with the label.
