UWAYE recently hosted Breaking Into Industry, an evening focused on helping students better understand the internship and graduate application process, with practical insights from BHP professionals and graduates. 🎓

Students gained practical insights into applications, interviews and assessment centres, including what to expect and how to approach each stage of the process.
💬 Q&A with Graduates
BHP graduates shared their experiences applying for and starting their careers in industry, giving students the opportunity to ask questions and hear about the process firsthand.
🤝 Networking
Students connected with BHP representatives, graduates and fellow UWA students throughout the evening, creating opportunities to build connections and learn more about careers in industry.
🎯 Mock Assessment Centre
Students put what they had learned into practice through a mock assessment centre, working through activities in a supportive environment and gaining a better understanding of what to expect.
