Last night was the 8th annual Combined District Lodges Meeting, this year hosted by Cranbourne Lodge with 70 in attendance. Worshipful Masters from various Lodges stepped in as officer's for the meeting and witnessed Most Worshipful Brother Peter Henshall Grand Master, present a Master Mason certificate to Cranbourne Lodge's Bro. Peter Henley. MWGM also conducted a great talk on our bonds of brotherhood, caring, compassion, and loyalty to the craft. In the South we were further provided insightful talks from Freemasons Foundation Victoria's Chair RWBro. Garry James and CEO Sandra Jacobs. A great evening for all. Next years event will be hosted by Mornington Lodge, so hope to see a huge presence for that one too β€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ»

This weekend, several of our members and their family joined forces with other members of Lodge's within our District to manage the gates at the Berwick show. We scanned tickets, took cash and card payments, and cheerfully welcomed members of the community into the show with our beaming smiles and warm greetings. We have been volunteering at both Dandenong and Berwick shows now for many years, and in return, the show donate a significant amount to our District charity fund for us to make a difference to a charitable organisation from our District. Well done to all the volunteers who have a deep understanding of charity, and how volunteering our time is just as effective as any monetary donations can be for achieving results for those in need within our communities. It is also a great experience for members to get to know fellow members of other Lodges and orders whilst building some lifelong bondsβ€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Last night we welcomed Victoria's 2 newest Freemasons, Brothers Jay-Benson Sevilleno & Zoren Urbano Entered Apprentices. They have both been regularly attending our South and socials to get to know our Brethren and are both very welcomed additions to our lodge. In addition to sharing their first step in Freemasonry, we are very much looking forward to guiding and sharing in their long and rewarding Masonic Journey. Thanks also to our 3 visitors who are always an appreciated component of making for these great nights at lodge β€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Our January meeting was a special night. For well over 30 years, we have held our traditional Robbie Burns night, and with thanks to the Frankston Pipe and Drum band 'Piping in the Haggis' and our very own Scotsman WBro. Hugh Neil with his traditional address to the Haggis, it was again a great tribute. We had around 100 members, partners and visitors from various districts in attendance, which made it a very fun evening.

A great evening for all last night at our Cranbourne Family Christmas Party.

In addition to celebrating the festive season, we had a very special and momentous occasion for our much loved brother and his family as we named the hall in honour of Rod McClelland. It was great to get an understanding of Rod's journey and accomplishments both within, and outside of Freemasonry. Such a worthy brother who we are so very proud of.

The evening was full of celebration, bonding, and laughs. We had Christmas music and carols, a great feed with a selection of roast meats, roast vegies, salads, and deserts. There were many winners in the raffle, and a visit from Santa and his helper, Mikhaela Dawson with gifts for the ladies.

All in all, a very successful fun evening β€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ»

A fantastic evening last night for our Worshipful Master on his first meeting since last months installation. WBro. Jason Liddle WM was outstanding, and was very well supported by 8 visiting brethren, with a Past Master, and 2 Worshipful Master's, who witnessed him and his team conduct a 1st degree initiation ceremony for Brother Johncef Latorre. Congratulations to Bro. Johncef - Entered Apprentice, and we hope you enjoyed your ceremony as much as we all did. We are all very excited for you, and so much look forward to supporting you and sharing in your long Masonic journey β€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ»
The South was fun-filled as always, and included a talk from Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association, on the 2nd Annual 'Blazing Star Christmas Toy Run' event which is being held across the state on Saturday 13th December to further support the principle partners with Toys For The Kids in Monash Hospital's on Christmas day. Cranbourne Lodge showed their commitment as one of the principal partners by donating $1000 for the purchase of toys. A great evening for our Master, our members, our candidate, visitors, and an awesome cause!!!

Monday night we celebrated our installation night. Congratulations to our brother, now our Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Jason Liddle. Our Lodge is in such capable hands and all our members are so proud. WBro. Jason has worked so hard for our Lodge, our members, and our District for so many years, and a fine example to those who follow his previous and future leadership. He has been the one most responsible for putting smiles on faces and bringing the fun to our Lodge, even putting others ahead of himself. Our Past Masters have always respected and supported him, our newer members have always looked up to him, and as a whole, we are so happy and confident in you achieving this milestone. Well done WM!!!
He and we are also so appreciative and proud of our Immediate Past Master WBro. Steve Marsh, who after having served in and out for several years, took on the WM role yet again, in honour of our late WM, WBro. Brett Holness who passed to the Grand Lodge above earlier in the year. May you forever Rest In Peace. He too would be proud of WBro. Steve for not hesitating in completing the year for our WBro. Brett WM. Thank you WBro. Steve from all our members. We know how close you are with WBro. Jason and will be there right by his side on every step of his new journey.
A great night of fun and excitement for everyone on the night. Please come and visit our new Worshipful Master and his team β€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ»
