Ladies and gents on Facebook universe,
Cranbourne Lions has certainly been quite these last few months - our Secretary meaning me took a leave of absent absence from the club - due to unforeseen circumstances, and I’m back and I may have been gone from social media and a lot of the events our club has done - doesn’t mean we have been exactly quite,
It’s been quite a emotional journey and it’s been wonderful coming back, to a supportive club - that’s is family orientated 🙂
I’ve found our club is still hard at work - with a few new members, helping the community under our help one help all initiative and forming new partnerships with other organisations to help more people in the community…
First event of our busy season, Cranbourne West Community Hub - this wonderful community centre - had its annual Christmas community event…
Of course our club did the bbq, and we had carols, games and craft for the kids,
And yep you guessed it - A visit from Santa!!!
All the way from the North Pole,
Thank you for visiting the children tonight - now now weather your on the naughty or nice list, Santa promised to visit all the children 24th of December, giving out early lollipops to all the children 🙂
massive shout and the biggest thanks for coming straight after work, new member Andrew for working side by side President Fred to hand out sausages to everyone, and also to the staff who helped serve the customers, to the coffee van whom served delicious coffees, the best I’ve ever had that’s for sure! And to the wonderfully talented musicians who played music for us to listen to 🙂 I’m in awe of your skills…
What a wonderful event to be apart of and thank you to Cranbourne West Community Hub for the partnership between Cranbourne Lions Club and you - it’s been one great year of community events 🙂
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Remember to look after the community and each other 🙂
Few photos - and of course the token selfie with aunty Robyn, and myself and Santa 🙂
