ਸਾਡੇ ਸਭ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਡਮ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਭੰਗੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਸ. ਸਵਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੰਗੂ ਜੀ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਇਸ ਫਾਨੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਰੁਖ਼ਸਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ । ਸ. ਸਵਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੰਗੂ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਡੀ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਪਿਆਰ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ ਫੇਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਸਨ ।
ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਵਿਛੋੜਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਸਿਹ ਹੈ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਦਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਘਾਟਾ ਹੈ । ਸਾਡੇ ਸਭ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਦਮਾ ਹੈ।
ਸ. ਭੰਗੂ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਮਾਣਮੱਤੀ ਸ਼ਖ਼ਸੀਅਤ ਸਨ। ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦੇ ਸੱਚੇ-ਸੁੱਚੇ ਹਮਦਰਦ ਸਨ । ਅਸੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਐਂਡ ਫੋਕ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਛੜੀ ਰੂਹ ਲਈ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ । ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨਣ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ 😭😢

ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਅਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਲਚਰਲ ਨਾਈਟ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਨਾਟਕ “ਇਹ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ “ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੰਡਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਘੱਟ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਮੁੰਡਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਹੀ ਨਿਭਾਏ ਗਏ। ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਿਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
