It was a real pleasure to welcome Vasudevan, Past President of the Rotary Club of Madurai Star, to our meeting this week! 🌏
We marked the visit with a traditional banner exchange, a small gesture that carries a big Rotary message: friendship and fellowship that reach well beyond our own community.
Thank you, Vasudevan and RAJ, for joining us and sharing your time with the Rotary Club of Craigieburn. Our doors are always open, and we hope to see you again soon! 🤝

⚠️ Whole communities have been swept away by flash floods in northern Nepal. ShelterBox is responding.

Families have lost their homes, while roads, bridges and other vital infrastructure have been badly damaged.

Our team is travelling to Nepal to find out what people need and how we can help.

Did you know the Rotary Club of Craigieburn was established in 1985? 🎉

For more than 40 years, local Rotarians have lived by the motto “Service Above Self”, rolling up their sleeves and making a real difference in our community.

I joined the club meeting earlier this week to share some of the work I’ve been doing at Council, but I left feeling inspired by THEIR stories.

The passion, generosity and commitment of these local volunteers to building a stronger, more connected and thriving Hume was incredible to hear.

40+ years of service. Countless community contributions. And a wonderful reminder of the power of people who simply choose to give back. 💜
