❗Centre closed notice❗8am -5pm Tuesday 2 June

Please be advised the Centre will be closed from 8am to 5pm on Tuesday 2 June 2026 while electrical upgrades are carried out, affecting both power and internet services. This important work will help enhance the facilities for all Centre users.

If you need access to printing facilities or Wi-Fi during this time, please use the Cowra Library or TAFE facilities (if you are a TAFE student).

We thank you for your understanding as we continue to maintain and improve the Centre’s facilities.⚡

Are you thinking about studying at university but haven’t studied for a while? UC Prep could be the perfect first step.

This 14-week pathways program (or bridging course) is designed for people who have:
✔ Recently finished school
✔Taken a break from study
✔Want to upskill, retrain, or step into the para-professional world

If you’re over 21 (or younger may be considered) and don’t currently meet university entry requirements, UC Prep can help you develop the skills you need and qualify for admission. After hours face-to-face 2 x 2-hour sessions per week.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Census is on Tuesday 11 August 2026.

Applications NOW OPEN for temporary Field Officers in our local area to collect the data that helps us all understand more about Australia and how it’s changing.

Field Officers deliver Census letters and forms, answer questions from the public and follow up with households that have not yet responded.

To be considered in the first round of applications, the ABS encourage people to submit their application by 18 May 2026.

Every 5 years, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) counts every person and
household in Australia through the Census. Information from the Census helps
governments, businesses and community groups plan for schools, health care, transport and infrastructure.
