🌟 Volunteer of the Week - Rd 5🌟

This week's Volunteer of the Week is the incredibly dedicated Kim Tight.

As both a football and netball mum, Kim is always willing to lend a hand wherever it is needed. Kim has been an active member of our Netball Sub-Committee, helped keep our Netball changerooms clean, and has taken on the huge task of organising netball dresses for every player from 9 & Unders right through to A Grade.

Kim's name is a familiar sight on our weekly rosters, regularly volunteering to umpire, score, or work in the canteen, and often taking on more than one role in a day. Her commitment doesn't stop there, with her name appearing on the majority of our remaining rosters for the season.

As a small token of our appreciation, Kim will receive a $50 voucher to Top of Town Take Away - Corryong.

And what a ripper game to watch!

Thank you Woolworths Surprise & Delight funding, and Melissa Whitehead our very own Upper Murray Football Netball League Operations Manager for all her work to get this opportunity off the ground! ❤️

A long weekend, a 1000km round trip, and memories to last a lifetime 💙

It was fantastic to welcome netballers from the Upper Murray FNL to Sunday's Vixens game, a first Melbourne Vixens experience for many of the league's junior players.

Representing Victoria's smallest league, with clubs from Cudgewa, Corryong, Bullioh and Tumbarumba, the group made the journey after a challenging year, including the impacts of January's bushfires.

Thanks to Woolworths' Surprise & Delight funding, these young netballers had the opportunity to experience elite netball up close and meet Vixen Kate Eddy after the match.

Moments like these remind us of the power of community and the impact our game can have across Victoria. 🏐✨

Alongside our Progressive Dinner, we're teaming up with Cudgewa Football Netball Club for our SOCK's AGAINST CANCER Day- kicking cancer to the kerb and raising much-needed funds for cancer research.

What a privilege for the Corryong Football Netball Club to be invited to take part in the Corryong College Big Freeze for MND on Wednesday June 3rd💙❄️

This is such an important cause that touches so many families and communities, and we are incredibly proud to stand alongside our local school in helping raise awareness and funds for .

We’re also excited to have two of our very own club members taking on the Big Freeze slide this year… can you guess who? 👀💦
