Today one of our Members joined in with Albury & Border Rescue Squad - VRA Rescue NSW participating in this morning's airport emergency exercise. It is great to join in with other squads and emergency training situations to bring that information back to our squad for us to learn.

We would like to congratulate our Senior Deputy Captain Nathan Cranston on his Dot Hennesey youth scholarship nomination and becoming a finalist. He was in the top 4 for NSW. While he didn't win the big one - his compassion, skill and leadership mean he is always a winner to us, is an asset to VRA Rescue NSW and a great member of our community. Congratulations on this great achievement.

Congratulations Fish on completing your GLR (general land rescue). It takes a lot of time and effort to get to this level and it is a great achievement. Congratulations from all at the squad. Another fully accredited member for the team and the town.

Corowa VRA Rescue is incredibly proud of our Senior Deputy Captain Nathan Cranston who was announced as a finalist for the Dot Hennessy OAM Emergency Services youth scholarship for his volunteer service to our organisation.

Nathan’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to helping our community in times of need are second to none.

Nathan also has an extensive volunteering resume with Federation Support NSW RFS Brigade and has worked up to the position of Captain.

Congratulations Nathan on your nomination and progression to finalist. Our town is a better place because you are in it.
