Bark in the Park is the ultimate FREE family fun day out for you and your furry best friends! 🌳☀️ Join the Federation Council and Corowa Dog Lovers Inc. as we celebrate the official renaming ceremony in honour of Maryann Herbert, complete with a ribbon-cutting for our fantastic new dog park upgrades.

Enjoy a delicious sausage sizzle lunch to help raise funds for the Corowa Dog Lovers, and explore our fantastic pet-related stalls packed with goodies for your pooch. 🛍️🌭 You can even meet some adorable adoptees or see if you are a lucky winner in our raffle draw! There is something for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate our local community and our pets. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🐾

We've put it on the map! 🗺️📍The notoriously hilarious Bald Archy Prize is setting up shop in the heart of Corowa. With over 40 brilliant, irreverent, and witty artworks poking fun at Australia's most distinguished faces, this is an exhibition you do not want to miss.

We had a fantastic turnout for a 'True Blue' Evening with Howlong artist Wayne 'Wombat' Birrell at the Corowa Art Space! 🎨 It was brilliant getting to hear firsthand from Wayne during the Q&A, digging into his creative journey and the personal philosophy behind his work. The community really got behind him, with 15 of his artworks selling on the night—and 50% of the proceeds going straight to Legacy.🏃‍♂️ Don't miss your chance to snag an original Wombat piece and support a great cause before the exhibition officially wraps up on its final day this Saturday, September 5th! 🖼️✨

🐾 Heads up, dog park users! Whether you're attending "Bark in the Park" or just dropping by for your daily walk, please note a few temporary changes in place on 12th September from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

For everyone's safety, all dogs in the Large Dog Area must stay on a leash. The Small Dog Area will remain off-leash as usual! With extra crowds around, we ask that aggressive dogs be left at home, and please remember that absolutely no food is allowed inside the dog park perimeters.

Get ready to drop in at the Corowa Skate Park Event and Mural Launch! 🛹🎨 Join us on Friday, 25 September from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Corowa Skate Park on John Street for an epic, 100% free afternoon celebrating our community.

We are officially launching the brilliant new murals designed with local youth and brought to life by artist Lee Wight. Bring your skateboards, scooters, or BMX bikes for an open skate session.🛴

DJ Nash will be spinning tracks live to keep the park buzzing, and the Corowa Lions Club will be serving up a free sausage sizzle to keep everyone fuelled up. 🌭🎶 Grab your helmet, bring your mates, and come celebrate this awesome, newly transformed youth space! 🤙✨

Satire reigns supreme! 👑🦘 Have you seen the 2026 Bald Archy Prize winner yet? Taking out the $10,000 top spot is Mark Davis for his work Emperor Australis—a hilarious parody of a classic historical painting that swaps a stallion for a kangaroo as PM Anthony Albanese conquers the Australian landscape.

But do you agree with head judge Maude the Cockatoo's decision? 🤔 When you visit the exhibition, YOU get to be the judge! Cast your vote for your favourite artwork to decide who takes home the highly contested People's Choice Award.

Watch an incredible Search and Rescue Dog in action and see exactly what these life-saving heroes can do. 🦺🐾 Then, stick around to learn all about training your own dog in agility and rally obedience. Join us at the Corowa Art Space for a get-together to sip, snack, and socialise. Come along to see some great Aussie art and celebrate with artist Wayne 'Wombat' Birrell as we showcase his beautiful collection of rural Australian artwork in his solo exhibition, 'True Blue'.

It’ll be a laid-back evening to enjoy some good company, have a chat, and chip in for a great cause. We're accepting gold coin donations at the entry for Legacy, and 50% of proceeds from any artwork sold during the event will be donated directly to this wonderful charity.

💪 The 2026/2027 Community Grants Program is officially open for applications!

We’re looking for projects and events that boost the vibrancy and connectivity of the Federation Council community. Whether it's a new event, a facility upgrade, or a community project, we want to help you bring it to life.

The Essentials:
💰 Funding: Up to $5,000 per applicant.
👥 Who: Not-for-profit groups, organisations, and clubs.
⏳ Applications close: Friday 23 October 2026.

How to Apply:
