Our latest exhibition, 'Where I Was To Where I Am', is now officially open and ready for you to explore! 🎉🖼️ Come visit the Corowa Art Space to view the stunning photography of Elijah Ingram.

Elijah Ingram is a creative director, community leader, and co-founder of Miil Miil Productions, a First Nations-led collective focused on revitalizing Aboriginal culture through digital media and cinema. His recent major works include producing Lords of the Soil (2025) and directing Nganhayung Galingabunbur. As Creative Officer for Western Riverina Arts, Ingram builds infrastructure and economic opportunities for regional digital artists. A globally recognised advocate for First Nations youth, he has represented his community at the United Nations in Geneva and the Global Indigenous Dialogue in Switzerland, and currently serves on the board of Museums of History NSW.

Be sure to pop into 100 Edward Street, Corowa to see these works for yourself, and you can even purchase some of this beautiful photography to take home with you! 🛍️🖼️ Open hours: Tuesday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.

Corowa Art Space is so excited to announce our next photography exhibition, 'Where I Was To Where I Am', opening soon on the 9th of June! 📸✨ We invite the community to come and witness this beautiful collection by Wiradyuri artist, filmmaker, and cultural advocate, Elijah Ingram, which perfectly captures the intersection of his heritage and the natural world. 🌿🌏

This exhibition is completely free to attend and will be running until the 11th of July at the Corowa Civic Centre. 📅 Mark your calendars to come down and experience these powerful stories that seamlessly bridge ancient storytelling with contemporary expression! 🎨🙌

Murrumbidgee Local Health District is running a visiting Women's Health Clinic that provides free and confidential care. 🏥 The services are provided by women, for women, and cover a wide range of important health needs including cervical screening with self-collection options, breast health awareness, contraceptive advice, STI screening, and menopause or pelvic floor education. 👩‍⚕️

The clinic will be hosted at Corowa Community Health on Guy Street. 📍 You can catch the visiting nurse on Tuesday the 23rd of June, Tuesday the 18th of August, Tuesday the 20th of October, or Tuesday the 15th of December 2026. 🗓️

We know you’re busy, so we’re bringing the health clinic to you. Quick, easy, and right where the action is. The Corowa Medical Clinic will offer free COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccinations to community members.

Empower yourself to support our youth! 🧠💙 Bookings are now open for the "Vibe Check" Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training. 📅✨

Over a 2-day face-to-face course led by licensed instructor John Dean, you'll learn to recognize early signs of mental health challenges and build practical skills to support adolescents, including how to respond in a crisis. 🤝💬 Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are fully provided! ☕🥪

The Sloane’s Froglet is a small, threatened species now restricted in NSW to a handful of locations along the Murray River, with one of its strongest populations in the Corowa area.
This annual event provides an update on the species, local frog populations, and how community members can get involved in conservation through the Sloane’s Champions project using the Australian Museum’s FrogID app.

This year we are joined by expert ecologist, Dr Dave Hunter from NSW DCCEEW. Enjoy a light meal, an informative presentation and a guided spotlight walk around the Whitehead Street Wetland to search for frogs.

👀 As well as the main event, Landcare are excited to announce a special add-on session inviting tertiary students (NRM, ecology, environmental science), early-career practitioners and frog enthusiasts to join NSW DCCEEW for their annual frog survey around Corowa.

It’s been such a joy watching the community-added flowers grow in the gallery space!💐

Blooming Again runs from 23 April – 23 May 2026 at Corowa Art Space. The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.

Note: Microchipping is for identification. Remember, dogs must be registered by 6 months and cats by 4 months of age.
