Meet the Marsh Snake! Brisbane’s very own (mildly venomous) marsh ninja. 🐍
This sleek little reptile loves hanging out in wetlands and creek lines, basically treating our humidity like a personal day spa. It spends its time snacking on small frogs and skinks.
Despite the “venomous” label, Marsh Snakes are shy, low-risk, and much happier doing frog-hunting than bothering humans. So admire from a distance, snap a photo, and let the marsh ninja do its thing. 🐍✨

This guy had a rat in it's belly and was chasing another thru the shed before I rudely interrupted.
Owners were worried about other pets they had on the property and wanted to avoid the altercations.

Had to tell the Budgie Smuggler there’d be no Budgie Smugglin’ tonight — tragic, I know.
But don’t worry, I’ve found a daytime Gold Coast beach where the lil’ fella can pack 'em in, on another day. 🤣

--Coastal Carpet Python. Master of eating small pets if enclosure is not snake proofed! Birds, Guinea pigs, chickens, are all fair game.

5.5 foot Eastern Brown (Dangerously Venomous) relocated from a property because of 2 small dogs.
This one gave me the run around with it hiding under concrete the first time I came out. So came back the next morning to get it while it was out sunning itself.
Still a challenging catch as they're very fast, was already on the move by the time I got there, and had plenty of hiding spots.
Luckily I had another 3 sets of eyes watching the large area as it was trying to evade the capture.

🔥 This call was to a public area in Southbank for a Red Belly Black Snake (Dangerously Venomous) Security did a great job watching and following this snake for a long distance.
I was driving when I spotted the situation... so I had to put on my hazard lights, jump out of the car quickly, and catch this snake. A strong animal and very healthy. Video credit to one of the many observers.
