This week, GSANZ is honoured to celebrate NAIDOC Week with the incredible , a proud Yolngu woman.

As we mark 50 years of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience, Leila's storytelling and reflections remind us of our ongoing journey towards reconciliation.

This year's theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," inspires us to celebrate First Nation achievements and look towards a bright future.

She emphasised the importance of making time and space to listen to the voices of the young generation, who speak of their hopes and dreams for the future. These young voices need to be heard and supported as they each step into the future in their own way and in their own time.

Let us continue to support and elevate the voices of the next generation as they step into their future with strength and vision.

Big news: No Interest Loans (NILs) secured for 5 more years!

The Federal Government has committed $48.7 million to keep the our No Interest Loans (NILs) and NILs for Vehicles programs running - helping even more Australians access essential, no-fee, no-interest loans for things like fridges, car repairs and medical expenses.

This powerful partnership between Good Shepherd, NAB, and the Federal Government has already supported over one million Australians - and this funding ensures even more people can access life's essentials without falling into debt.
