Dear everyone, Ty's fishing competition is scheduled to proceed in November. We have received an overwhelming response, the largest since activating the website last year, with a no live scopes competition there is a lot off interest.Entries are set to open in June I am currently finalizing arrangements with Fish Donkey for entries.The competition will feature three classes: biggest cod overall with a prize of $2500 and the all important name on the trophy stringer of three cod with a prize of $2500, and a junior cod winner who will receive a new kayak. Additionally, there will be random prizes. This event aims to be a low-key, family-friendly gathering during the warmer weather, celebrating Ty's legacy. The Edmonds family has contributed financially, and if sufficient numbers are reached, a boat draw exclusive to anglers will be organized.

Following weeks of deliberation on enhancing Ty’s competition, we are considering methods to improve the management and administration of the event, rendering it more enjoyable and family-friendly; we have decided to schedule it during the warmer months to facilitate water access for families and enhance overall enjoyment; the entry fee remains nominal, with prizes still offered. I have posted an update and will provide more information on the entry process and competition details in the coming weeks. Thank you, Edmonds family.
