Trying something new can feel scary – but it can also be where the magic begins ✨

At Girl Guides, girls are encouraged to try, explore, and discover. Whether it’s their first time pitching a tent, leading a game, or speaking in front of the group – every new experience builds courage and confidence.

It’s not about being perfect. It’s about giving it a go – and growing in the process.

Happy National Volunteer Week!

Across cities, towns, bushland and coastlines, our volunteers are the link that brings communities of girls together.

More than 4,000 Guiding volunteers across Australia are driven by what girls can do and lean on their personal experience to create brave spaces for girls to discover their authentic selves.

With their time and effort, girls find warmth in friendship, adventure in new experiences, direction in times of change and belief that they can soar towards their full potential.

Whether once a week or day to day, face to face or behind the scenes, their impact is felt in more ways than we can count.
