Off to share the Natureweavers WinterFire Way with the dedicated staff of Eskay Kids this weekend.

Harvesting these medicinal greens to share as part of the season of fire - lemon myrtle, lemon balm and chickweed to make cooling teas and balms, balancing the energy of fire throughout the season. Always in humble gratitude to my garden for its abundance just as I need it.

Fire season began early this year by request of the Natureweavers Elders. Which means ecodyeing also begins - pineapple marigold today.

Thanks to this Natureweaver for picking each blossom one by one for the dye pot. And gratitude to the pineapple marigold abundance this season.
