Due to this severe weather event, Coopernook Op Shop will be closed today. The aim is to minimise any risks to be taken for the safety and wellbeing of the volunteers required to be on duty today. As we approach the Christmas season of faith, fun and friendship, it is my pleasure to take this opportunity to thank you all for your custom and support. I wish you all a very happy and safe festive season from the Coopernook Op Shop and it's volunteers.
Your support has been encouraging and your donations contribute towards the aims and goals of our faith mission of recycling, repurposing and resale through the Lower Manning Uniting Church.

Local is best

Social media is erupting with post after post about feed additives for livestock used to decrease methane emissions.
As usual the scare tactics used by the media have everyone in a panic about what is and is not safe to eat.
As far as milk goes I'm going to make it really easy to understand.

No Australian dairy farmers are using this feed additive.

Want your milk to be safe and free of this additive? Buy fresh milk. Not UHT.
Check the labelling to make sure the milk you are buying is Australian milk.

Fresh milk is always Australian milk from Australian farms.
Support your local farmers by buying branded milk- doesn't matter what brand.

You can always trust Australian milk to be high quality and free of additives. Cheap imports are not so reliable.

Symbolic of the season we are leaning into. The festive season I love and know as Christmas. A time given to us to honour, celebrate, create and reflect on the abundance of opportunities which come our way. As we head into the busyness of anticipation, excitement and changing expectations please, can I suggest, find the time not only for yourself but also for the pets and animals in our lives which add to our family structures. This card is a friended reminder of the value of Christmas. 🎄🎉✨️

With another year passed, Coopernook Op Shop and it's team wishes to extend its appreciation to the communities of Coopernook Harrington, Lansdowne, Moorland, Hannam Vale, Johns River, Taree and surrounds for the valuable support given towards the goals of customer service. The aim is to offer pre-loved clothing, textiles, goods and chattels at a reasonable resale price for the benefit of the customer. In acknowledgement of our 7th year of trading, we celebrate the hard times, the effort it takes and the gifts of experience, team work and loyalty. Thank you all🥳🤠
