GREAT NEWS! Our pads have been replaced ..
with grateful help from ActFast first aid in Sale and Kim Munson for her know how.
Our Defib unit in coongulla on the CFA wall is active and ready for use
Code C 2007 ..

The DEFIBRILLATOR on the external wall of the CFA shed has been removed . The Battery/ pads are out of service and must be replaced
There are none available
I have been activley trying to solve this issue .

The only working DEFIB. Is located on the community hall . The code is C2007 .

Unfortunately the Defib located on the CFA shed has not had a battery replacement since May 2025 . The batteries and unit have been recalled and they are simply not available at this point. The heartsine company are not helpful and can’t offer us a replacement or alternative unit .
At the moment the light is still flashing green , which means it is operational BUT in an emergency the unit located on the outside of the HALL is preferred .The code is C2007 .It is written above the unit . It is fully operational.
I have been in constant communication with both Ambulance Victoria and Heartsine with no result as yet.

As from the end of MAY 2025 the pads and battery in our Defib located on the outside of the CFA building needed to be replaced . The unit is still operational . Unfortunately the product , despite my best efforts are on back order with every supplier ,due to a recall . I am not yet able to order the replacement pads .
I have several orders placed , but have been informed they wont be in until late august .
The unit located on the outside of the hall has had the batteries and pads replaced recently . It is fully operational
The code for both units is C 2007 .

The Coongulla Halls Heartsmart Defib , today had its pads replaced.
The old ones expire in March, so the new ones will expire in March 2027.
Both the batteries and the pads , in both units need regular checks and updates
The cost for the new pads were $184.40 delivered , the funds came from the community Defib account
