Sky River Path parkrun

parkrun has the option of holding additional events on Christmas Day and New Years Day, and we need your help to decide if Sky River Path should run either or both events.

Just remember that both Christmas day and NYD are on Friday’s, so the normal Saturday events will run on the days after.

It will be simple, if you are keen for either, please reply in the comments:-

🎊 “NYD – yes + Run or Volunteer”

To get the ball rolling Bec is keen to RD on Christmas Day and Marty on NYD!

If we have enough to fill the Volly roster and at least 10 runners then we will lock it in!

🎉 A VERY SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO TRISHA! 🎉

This week, Trisha Tighe reached a HUGE milestone — 50 volunteer credits! 🥳

That’s 50 times she’s shown up, helped out, wrangled runners, supported the event and generally contributed to making Sky River Path parkrun the wonderfully chaotic community that it is.

And in true Trisha fashion… she managed to escape BOTH Event Directors before we could properly congratulate her. 😂

Spring has officially sprung at Sky River Path!
We had a fantastic turnout this week with a nice temperature and brilliant energy all around!

The Event Rundown:
Total Finishers: 41
Male Finishers: 21
Female Finishers: 15
Unknowns: 6

Top Finishers:
Top Male: Kodi BRADY – 21:00 (VM45-49, 67.54% age grade)
Top Female: Brooke BROOKE – 22:44 (SW25-29, 65.10% age grade)

Milestone Achiever:
A massive congratulations to Tim FAY for completing his 25th parkrun this week! 🎉
