Well, that’s a wrap
We’ve had lots of fun and seen some amazing scenery. The esCARpade has raised around $900,000 for camp quality. We are now on the long drive back home to Bredbo via Cooma for supplies (anything that doesn’t include egg and bacon rolls 😳) Lightening will get a well earned rest for a few months before starting the planning for next year.
Again thank you everyone who donated to such a worthy cause.

Here we are at a school stop in Echuca…

It was lightnings turn to run a fun stop, the lightning remote control car races were a fail since the cars couldn’t or wouldn’t run on the gravel at the stop point. We quickly became a coin toss game and raised over $100 for Camp Quality. Leaving Echuca to the Camp Reserve in Castlemaine for lunch we held there for a while awaiting news on our friends who had tipped their car on its side (everyone is well) just battered and bruised.

Cook watching 47 do a drive through

The Rapid Response Team provided our breakfast and we departed bright and early out of Bright. For the afternoon run it was our turn to take Cook on a ride along. After lunch and refreshments at The Grand Central Hotel Cobram we hit the road to the muddiest and most water crossings yet. Cook stopped off for some nature time with his bush mates before arriving in Echuca where he enjoyed a nice spa before dinner.
The cars are not so shiny now. The car washes in Echuca will be getting a good work out. Monaro Tyrepower & Truck Centre
