It was a beautiful afternoon for our first club night of the year!! Great to see so many smiles and kids having fun! Perfect way to start the year.
A big thank you to Coles Coolum for donating the BBQ supplies.
And thank you to our volunteers, members and supporters for a successful night. Looking forward to seeing you all at the next one.

We’ve had some pretty spectacular afternoons by the pool this year 🤩 with our last Christmas club night a few weeks ago rounding out another excellent year for our the club!

A huge thank you to our volunteers, members and supporters for all the successful club nights and events we have hosted this year. We simply could not have done it without your help! 🩵

Swimming Queensland Long Course Champs ⚡️⚡️

The last meet of 2024, the last meet for some of our seniors as well as the last meet coached by Jack. With such an eventful lead in, the kids all produced an incredible week’s worth of racing.

6 Swimmers:

35/40PB’s (90%) 🤯
1 🥈 - Josh 15yrs 50 Breast (CPSC first individual medal since 2008/09)
2 🥉 - Hazel, Josh 14yr, Open Swimming Wide Bay relays
3 - 4th Places
9 - Top 🔟
9 - Top 20

Total Points: 215

Congratulations to all swimmers including Kobe, Mya and Moana who have just started their age group journey and to Hazel, Hailey and Josh who will all be moving on at the end of year!

Thank you to all families for surviving the week, from sideways rain and flooding mixed with muggy conditions to begin the week to scorching heat the last few.

A last thank you to Coach Jack for your tireless effort and diligence in being able to have all swimmers at peak condition, relaxed and continually pushing to improve even with the early success at the start of the week. The energy and enthusiasm each day rubbed off and paid dividends with the clubs first individual medal. You will be sorely missed!

This week marks the end of an era for Coolum Peregian Swim Club. Our beloved CPSC coach of seven years has made the hard decision to close his chapter at Coolum.

Coach Jack Hawke has formed an integral part of CPSC history, dedicating countless hours to nurturing and inspiring our swimmers both in and out of the pool. Over the past seven years, he has not only shaped the skills and confidence of our athletes but has also established a strong sense of community and camaraderie within the club.

Under his leadership, Coach Jack rebuilt the club from the ground up, laying a strong foundation that transformed it into a thriving community. His expert guidance has been instrumental in nurturing a solid cohort of junior swimmers, many of whom have progressed to compete at a national level, showcasing the remarkable impact of his dedication and vision.

Jack’s passion, dedication, and unwavering support of each and every swimmer he coaches will be deeply missed, though his impact on CPSC will be felt for years to come. On behalf of all the swimmers and parents of Coolum Peregian Swim Club and the Coolum Aquatic community, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Jack for his incredible contributions.

While it’s hard to say goodbye, we are excited for Jack’s next adventure and development as a coach. We know he will continue to inspire and achieve great things in the swimming world.

This reflects your dedication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Competing at such a prestigious event highlights your hard work and passion for the sport.

We are devastated to announce that tonight’s Xmas Club Night has been postponed.

Our highest priorities are for the wellbeing and safety of all swimmers as well as leaving them with the most enjoyable club experience as possible!

With that being said, the new date for our final club night will be Friday, December 6th.

Two more weeks of hard training, purchasing raffle tickets and bringing new friends to participate!

Last Club Night of the year this week!

The year is drawing to a close and we are going out with a bang 💥 for our Christmas-themed Club Night 🎅🎄We have an epic prize list that we will be raffling off and of course a feast of delicious treats and BBQ.

Club Night presents an awesome opportunity to test yourself and see how well you've progressed in your swimming over the year. It also helps set the benchmark for next year before holidays start, so you can start the new year with fresh goals. But most of all, its a great opportunity to have fun racing in the pool with friends!

St Andrew’s Swim Club Prep 🏊

A stellar day with plenty of exciting racing by our small crew of swimmers. Great to see several development swimmers progressing with solid chunks out of their previous times.

Seniors swimmers now head towards Medal Shots with Junior swimmers partaking in this weeks Nambour meet 🫶

Shout out also to Coach Jack who went straight from coaching duties at the pool to Noosa Parade on Noosa Bolt ⚡️ duties running a speedy time of 16.36 for the 5k. From all reports, there were several squad supporters cheering from the fences 📣

We are so excited to spend a beautiful, sunny October afternoon racing with everyone this Friday! Entries available for pick up at the pool, just ask your teacher or visit the LTS desk.

Great weekend alternatives for our club swimmers. Dispersed between our backyard at the Aqua Park for Swimming Queensland OWS Champs 🏊‍♂️ and on the GC for Coolie Gold 🌊

Josh, Max and Ellie all competing in the 2.5km event after an intense morning session. A big shout out to Josh who was crowned state OW champ 🏆 with 🥇in both his age, overall and Swimming Wide Bay regional champ. Ellie G picked up her first regional medal with a 🥉in her age and Max cracked a PB in what looks like a longer swim than last year 🤘

Hazel, Angus and Eamon all competed in various events at the Coolie Gold with Hazel taking a 🥇with her awesome teammates in the U/19 teams division posting a solid swim, the boys conquering their age challenges on the Saturday afternoon 🤘

We congratulate all swimmers for taking part in something different and being able to say they’ve tried something most of the swimming cohort haven’t! It doesn’t go unnoticed and it’s only going to make them more confident in the pool 👊
