Great turnout for the ABK Greater Sunshine Coast Black Belt and Combined class today at ABK Coolum Beach with 26 on the floor!

The day consisted of a spirited warm up plus 5 rounds of sparring with Dai Sensei Mick (ABK Coolum). Then on to an energised Yakusoku session facilitated by Sensei Grant (ABK Petrie - Takameru Dojo). Finishing the class off by separating into groups for Kata.

Thankyou to Kin Shinden Branko and Kin Shinden Louise for your guidance and continuing support.

Thanks for everyone who turned up and we look forward to seeing you all at the ABCGSC Senjo Grading at Mudjimba Dojo on Saturday the 18 July 2026 at 830am for 9am start.

If you are looking at Grading please attend the BB & Combination Class this weekend.

In training and at Gradings (depending on grade requirements) you may hear these 'Strike' terms. When practicing Strikes, ensure you focus on correct technique and ALWAYS be in a Stance.
