We have been home for a week now. The bags are unpacked; life is back to normal but our memories from New Zealand are still fresh.

For 9 amazing days, 14 campers shared new experiences, big challenges, plenty of laughs.

There was kayaking, hiking, camping in Abel Tasman, high ropes, team challenges and time exploring the cities, but the friendships, courage and personal growth are what we’ll remember the most.

To our families, mentors, sponsors and everyone who supported our fundraising: thank you for helping get us there. There was so much work behind this adventure, and seeing our campers experience it made that effort worthwhile.

We have so much to share. Here’s a little glimpse of our New Zealand adventure! ✨

These creations deserve a moment of their own! 🫶

Our local businesses and teams took the theme “The future through their eyes” and brought it to life with clay, imagination and plenty of teamwork.

Every sculpture had its own story, thoughtful details and personality. Thank you to everyone who entered and put time, care and creativity into supporting opportunities for Goldfield's youth. Together we are creating amazing opportunities for our young people.

A little clay & a lot of imagination

Our Sculpt Their Future teams certainly delivered! Each sculpture brought a different perspective to “The future through their eyes,” and we loved seeing the creativity, teamwork and thought behind every entry.

A huge thank you to every business and team who took part. From the first idea to the finishing touches, your efforts gave us an exhibition worth celebrating!

✨ SCULPT THEIR FUTURE - WHAT A NIGHT! ✨

Clay, creativity and a whole lot of community spirit! 💛

On 18 September, Camp Fairbridge Kalgoorlie came alive as local Goldfield's businesses and teams shared their interpretation of “The future through their eyes.”

From the sculptures to the conversations, laughter and friendly competition, it was such a special night, and together, the event raised approximately $5,000 to support the GYL campers for their New Zealand trip!

To everyone who entered, attended, donated, sponsored or helped bring the night together: thank you. Your support helped turn a creative idea into something with a real impact. We could not have done this without you!

And yes, for those people to have asked - Sculpt Their Future is coming back - Same time, next year!

Passports in hand. New Zealand - here we come! 🇦🇺

There was so much excitement around this photo. For five of our campers, this is their very first passport—and soon it will take them on their first overseas adventure. We are all so excited! What an amazing moment for these Goldfields GYL Campers!

To every sponsor, local business, family member, volunteer and supporter who helped us get here: thank you!! You’ve helped turn an idea into a real opportunity for these young people to travel, try new things and grow together.
